4 Things Every High School Senior and Parent Should Consider: #4 The Timeline

Choosing the right senior photographer is an important decision. Your senior portraits are more than just photos for the yearbook — they capture one of the most exciting milestones of your life. From your personality and style to the overall experience, every detail matters when selecting a photographer for your senior pictures.
As a luxury senior photographer with over 16 years of experience, I believe there are four important things every senior and parent should consider before booking a session: the art & artist, the editing style, the experience, and the timeline.
The Timeline: When You’ll Receive Your Senior Photos
A smooth and organized timeline is an important part of the senior photography experience.
If you need a formal yearbook portrait, we’ll select your image together in the studio before heading outdoors for the creative portion of your senior session.
About one week after your session, we’ll meet again to:
- Choose your favorite images
- Select your custom album or image box
- Confirm yearbook selections
- Discuss your senior yearbook ad
Your digital images will be delivered in an online gallery within two weeks, and your custom album typically arrives about one month after your session. To make things even easier for families, I also handle the direct submission of required yearbook images to your high school.

Let’s Create Something Beautiful Together
Your senior year only happens once, and your senior portraits should feel just as special as the memories themselves.
I can’t wait to create beautiful images that celebrate who you are during this exciting season of life. Let’s make your senior session an experience you’ll always remember.
I’m now booking senior sessions for the upcoming season, and dates tend to fill quickly. Let me know if you’d like info or want me to hold a spot for you!
This concludes my four-part series on 4 Things Every High School Senior and Parent Should Consider when choosing a senior photographer: the art and the artist, the editing style, the experience, and the timeline.
